Guest Speaker Dina Gillespie, Area Operations Manager at Thames Water Women in engineering to me is a balance for better – diversity of thoughts, ideas and experience, that can only make us achieve more together. My career high was getting a job at Thames Water eight years ago, having had no previous experience in the wastewater industry, and I haven’t looked back since. Four years ago I got my first role in Operations managing Europe’s largest sewage treatment works and last year I became area operations manager covering four sites in West London. No day is the same; challenging, exciting and very rewarding.
