Patrick Ellen

I work for Sustainable Ventures, an organisation that develops, invests in and creates workspaces for sustainable businesses. Our vision is where the challenges of climate change and resource scarcity are addressed by commercial solutions. We work primarily with start ups and SMEs in the cleantech sector to help them scale and grow their businesses to address these global challenges, and have delivered programmes in entrepreneurship on behalf of the ERDF, EU Climate Kick, the GLA and other organisations with interest in this space. I am also a recent career changer into the green sector and have wealth of commercial experience and expertise in the retail and consumer goods industries, with a strong focus on health & beauty, both in the UK and globally. Previously I have worked for Unilever, Boots and for the Korean government in international trade. My educational background focussed on social science and languages, with a focus on Asia, and I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) Korean Studies.
