Join us to support fair Futures For All

As a charity, we are passionate about transforming young people’s lives by supporting students in state education to gain fair access to work experience and talk opportunities – funded by investors like you. However, research from the Institute for Fiscal Studiesshows that UK social mobility is the worst it has been in 50 years. Could you help us change that?

Ways to get involved

01

Trusts & Foundations

Are you a Trust or Foundation aligned to educational and/or social causes? If you offer grants or financial awards that could help fund a project for young people in the UK, please get in touch to see how we can work together.

Securing funding from the Drax Foundation

The grant from Drax funded a nine-month-long project in the Northampton and Ipswich regions that helped young people living close to two of Drax’s UK energy supply businesses – Opus Energy and Drax Energy Solutions – to develop green skills while learning more about career opportunities in the STEM sector.

Designed to be delivered in three main stages starting from October 2023, this Futures For All project– titled Workspaces of the future – invited students aged 14-19 from 56 local secondary schools and colleges in the Ipswich and Northampton areas to participate in a phased green innovation challenge where they ultimately pitched their ideas and designs for a high spec ‘green’ office space to a judging panel of local STEM employers.

A corporate partnership with indu

We partnered with new teen beauty brand indu to deliver a series of online inspirational talks with a focus on building confidence and self-esteem, directly to young people from state schools across the UK. Co-designed and generously funded by indu, this series covered a variety of topics such as the psychology behind the beauty sector and prioritising well-being and mental health.

A newcomer on the beauty scene, indu’s mission is to provide a more holistic and relatable way for teens to source health and beauty advice and products that celebrates their individuality without enforcing unhealthy and unrealistic beauty standards. As a charity that seeks to empower teenagers and advocates for better representation in every industry, we feel this unique beauty brand’s mission aligns perfectly with that of Futures For All.

"Work experience online helped me feel confident and more secure. Hearing from leaders at British Airways, I gained the opportunities I needed. I feel so much more optimistic about my future."

Why support state-educated young people

50%

of students leave school without any work experience, and funding our programmes will change that.

39%

of ‘top jobs’ are
held by privately educated people, who represent only 7% of the student population.

65%

of senior judges attended private school, despite talent being spread evenly across the country.

76%

of UK businesses
face challenges in recruiting talent. So, supporting
social mobility can help everyone.
