Andrew Law
Chair of the Board of Trustees
Andrew Law is the Chairman and CEO of Caxton Associates, a forty two year-old global macro hedge fund. Prior to Caxton he was Managing Director, Goldman Sachs, as head of proprietary trading in London. Andrew attended a state school in Manchester and gained a First-Class Honours degree in Economics from the University of Sheffield in 1987.
His philanthropic interests include his role as a founding Chair of both AL Philanthropies (formerly Law Family Charitable Foundation) and AL Elevation (formerly Law Family Educational Trust) which sponsors a 16 school multi-academy trust in Greater Manchester.
Robert Peston
Founder of Futures For All,
ITV Political Editor
Robert Peston is ITV’s political editor, presenter of the politics show “Peston” and the podcast “The Rest is Money”, and founder of our charity, Futures For All. He has written seven critically acclaimed books, including his two latest, “Bust?” – on how to fix the malaise in the UK and the West – and a thriller set in the financial crisis, “The Crash”. Peston has won more than 30 awards for his journalism, including Journalist of the Year, Specialist Journalist of the Year and Scoop of the Year (twice) from the Royal Television Society.

Sakhila Mona Mirza
President of Responsible Gold
Sakhila, a qualified lawyer, has worked in the financial services sector for 15 years, covering the oil markets and then moving to the precious metals market. Most of her career has focused on providing legal, regulatory and compliance advice, and building corporate governance programmes.
Currently she is the President at Responsible Gold, the blockchain-powered ecosystem for traceable and ethically sourced gold. She will oversee the firm’s next phase of growth, with a focus on advancing the practical implementation of responsible sourcing frameworks and supporting innovation across Responsible Gold’s digital offerings.
Sakhila previously served as London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) deputy CEO and general counsel for over a decade, where she led initiatives on responsible sourcing, market integrity and standards development. She played a key role in shaping global policies aimed at improving trust and transparency within the gold supply chain.
In addition, she has key relationships with government officials and regulators around the world and has spoken at several conferences, educating stakeholders on the developments within the precious metals market. Sakhila read law at the London School of Economics and went on to qualify as a solicitor.
Roland Rudd
Founding Partner at Finsbury
Roland Rudd is Chairman of Finsbury Glover Hering. He founded Finsbury 25 years ago and was Chairman throughout this time. He is a leader in corporate communications and provides personal counsel to board members and senior executives at the most critical moments for their companies.
Before Finsbury, he worked as a political and financial journalist primarily at the Financial Times.
He is Chair of Tate, Trustee for Futures For All, and the Bayreuth Festival. He is an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Society and the Made By Dyslexia campaign and is Chairman of the Governors of Millfield School. He is also an Honorary Fellow at Oxford School of Corporate Reputation and Regents College, Oxford University.
Ruth Spellman
Board member of the Education and Training Foundation
Ruth Spellman has been a leader and champion of education and training in Further, and Higher education for the past 30 years, at Investors in People, at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, the Chartered Management Institute and at the Workers Educational Association. She served on the OU’s governing Council for 8 years and is a seasoned non executive director.
Highlights of her career are playing a key role in the formulation of education and skills policies, taking IIP into 33,000 workplaces, the award of an OBE for services to work place learning in 2007, and the lifetime achievement award from the TES for services to FE in 2020. Ruth is currently a Board member of the Education and Training Foundation, the Learning and Work Institute and a Trustee of Adviza which provides careers advice to young people and a
career coach.
Ed Amory
Strategic Reputational Adviser
For the last fifteen years Ed has provided strategic reputational advice to globally significant individuals and organisations facing complex challenges, at a CEO and country leader level. Between 2021 and 2024, he was CEO of a consultancy based in London with offices in more than a dozen nations including South Africa, UAE, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Germany and the UK.
Ed initially worked as a political adviser in the UK, before spending more than a decade as a journalist and adviser to the editor and proprietor at the Daily Mail newspaper. He is a senior counsellor to Ashoka, the global network of social entrepreneurs. Ed lives in London and Devon, and is chair of the trustees of Britain’s national oak collection.

Joe is CEO at StudentSafe who bring unique technology and specialist expertise to school transport, helping schools increase admissions, reduce hassle & costs and improve parent satisfaction.
Previously Joe has worked on the trading floor at UBS and then founded, grew and sold edtech business Firefly Learning. Edtech SaaS platform Firefly Learning helps 900 schools across 50 countries better connect their students, teachers and parents. Firefly raised the largest Series A in UK edtech and went on to raise a Series B, acquire and integrate two other edtech businesses, achieve profitability and then exit to PE backed US edtech leader Veracross.

David is the Founder and Chief Executive of Pi Capital. He previously founded, built up and sold several businesses and health club chains in the US, Europe and Asia. David has financial interests in several other businesses and industries and has been involved as an investor, advisor and board member of some of the most successful health & fitness companies in the world.
David is Chairman of Oga Fit, Sarva and EXi, non-executive director of Agronomics and also a senior advisor to AMG (Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.) and BC Partners. David is a member of YPO, the Chief Executives Organization and the Global Leadership Circle of ONE. In addition, he is a trustee of Futures For All and patron of Pro Bono Economics.
Shriti Vadera, Baroness Vadera
Chair of Prudential plc
Baroness Vadera is the Chair of Prudential plc and the Chair of the Royal Shakespeare Company. She has previously held a variety of high-profile finance roles in both the public and private sectors spanning 35 years. She was previously the chair of Santander, a Director of AstraZeneca and Senior Independent Director of BHP. She has also worked in investment banking and as a government minister.
Shriti has supported SfS for nearly 15 years now, having regularly delivered Inspirational talks to our young beneficiaries throughout this period. In addition to being Chair of Prudential pls and of the RSC, she is co-chair of the World Bank Private Sector Investment Lab and co-chair of the Creative Industries Council. She is a non-affiliated peer in the House of Lords and an Ambassador for Futures For All.
Andy Haldane
Economist
Andy Haldane was most recently the Chief Executive of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA)*. He was formerly Chief Economist at the Bank of England and a member of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee. He was also the Permanent Secretary for Levelling Up at the Cabinet Office from September 2021 to March 2022. Andrew is Founder and President of the charity Pro Bono Economics, Vice-Chair of the charity National Numeracy and Chair of the National Numeracy Leadership Council. Andrew chairs the Government’s Levelling Up Advisory Council and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre’s Industrial Board.
The respected economist has been announced as the new Chancellor of the University of Sheffield. He has regularly delivered Inspirational talks for Futures For All over almost 15 years now and is one of our Ambassadors.
Tim Allan
Chair of Strand Partners
Tim’s career has spanned business and politics. He initially worked for Tony Blair for 6 years. As Alastair Campbell’s deputy, he was part of the team which secured the 1997 General Election landslide victory and then worked as a Deputy Press Secretary in 10 Downing Street. He left Number 10 for a role at Sky, where he worked first as Director of Communications and then as part of the in house business strategy team.
In 2001, after his INSEAD MBA, he founded Portland. Over the course of 18 years as its Managing Director, Tim grew Portland into one of the most renowned reputation management companies in the UK. Its operations expanded into four continents, employing over 280 people. He sold the business to Omnicom Inc, with the sale completing in 2019. He now invests in communications businesses such as BB Partners and Strand Partners, the latter of which he chairs. He is an Ambassador for Futures For All and has delivered Inspirational talks on our behalf for over a decade.
Marcus Wareing MBE
Michelin-starred Chef , TV Personality & Acclaimed Cookbook Author
Marcus Wareing’s contribution to British food and the next generation of cookery talent has made him one of the most respected and acclaimed chefs and restaurateurs in Britain.
His awards include Two Michelin stars, Tatler Restaurateur of the Year, GQ Chef of the Year, the Chef award at the Cateys and an Acorn Award.
Known for his role as a Judge on BBC TV Masterchef: The Professionals and cookery book author.
Originally from Southport, Merseyside, the son of a fruit and vegetable merchant, Marcus began his career aged 18. He received his first Michelin star at just 26 – one of only a handful of chefs to be recognised at this age. Over the last 35 years Marcus has been involved in the creation of some of London’s most celebrated restaurants.
Rikke Rosenlund
Founder and CEO, BorrowMyDoggy
Rikke Rosenlund is the Founder and CEO of BorrowMyDoggy, which she launched in 2012 to connect dog owners with trusted local dog lovers for walks, sitting, and holiday care. Under her leadership, BorrowMyDoggy has grown into a household name in the UK and Ireland, built on trust, community, and a scalable marketplace model.
Before founding BorrowMyDoggy, Rikke built an international career across financial services and the automotive industry, having started her career at the OECD working on global energy data. She has also been actively involved in volunteer work, including disaster relief, mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, co-founding WITSEND, a network supporting women to grow and lead, and supporting initiatives to encourage more women into STEM.
Born in Denmark and having lived and worked across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, Rikke brings a global perspective to entrepreneurship and innovation. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurship, taking risks, and the value of trying new ideas and experiencing the world. She is an Ambassador for Futures For All and delivers talks for the organisation.
David Morrissey
Award winning Actor, Director & Producer
David Morrissey is an accomplished English actor, director and producer. He is well known for a variety of TV roles, including State of Play, Blackpool, The Walking Dead, The Missing, Britannia series I, II & III, Daddy Issues seasons 1 & 2, and the critically acclaimed series The Long Shadow and Sherwood seasons 1 & 2.
David recently appeared in the Netflix drama The Woman In Cabin 10, the ITV series GONE and Channel 4s Russell T Davies drama TIP TOE.
David worked with the RSC and the National Theatre for many years, and returned to his home town of Liverpool in 2011 to perform in Macbeth at the Everyman Theatre where he started his career.
More recently he has performed on the London stage in in the critically acclaimed play Hangmen at the Royal Court and Julius Caesar at The Bridge Theatre where he took on the role of Marc Antony. In 2024 he performed in a Pinter double bill at the Theatre Royal Bath.
David recorded the first series of his podcast Who Am I This Time in 2020 and it is now in its third series.
Alex Segal

Alex was appointed InterTalent’s Managing Director in 2020, becoming the youngest person to hold the role in the agency’s 30-year history.
Alex oversees InterTalent’s day-to-day operations, drive its creative vision, and leads on the acquisitions and partnerships while continuing to represent his roster of clients, including Vinnie Jones, Grace Dent, Ross Kemp, Sally Nugent, Scarlett Moffatt, Steve Backshall & Omid Djalili.
Alex studied Theatre Producing at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and began his career in the West End and at the Old Vic. Coming from a family of agents, Alex transitioned into talent management at Curtis Brown before spending over three years at ARG, where he worked with their high-profile actors, including Daniel Radcliffe & Liam Neeson.
Since joining InterTalent in 2012, Alex has negotiated more than £40 million in talent deals across all areas of the industry and has developed new & valuable IP for Intertalent's clients. As MD, Alex has expanded InterTalent by launching new divisions in Brand Partnerships, Comedy, Digital, Events, Gaming, and Sport, while strengthening its long-established Scripted and Unscripted business. The company has more than 5x its turnover in that time and was named Best Agency for New Talent at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards.

Sue Owen-Bailey
Head of Environmental, Social and Governance Strategy at Equifax
As Head of ESG, Sue works collaboratively across the Equifax business in Europe to lead our Environmental, Social and Governance strategy, driving positive social change and more sustainable business practices.
With a background in marketing, partnerships, and corporate responsibility, she holds a degree in Business Management and Media from the University of Wales, Marketing Diploma from Cambridge Marketing College and is a Chartered Marketeer. She is also certified Carbon Literate by the Carbon Literacy Trust.
Sue has a range of experience in careers and financial inclusion programming, working with partner organisations to help individuals enhance their employability and gain financial literacy skills, and leading employee engagement programmes with a passion for wellbeing and inclusion. She is also a #YesSheCan ambassador to encourage more young women to break into traditionally male-dominated industries.
Sue has formally served as vice-chair on the board of trustees for a young person’s mental health charity and has more than a decade of professional skill volunteering experience including Enterprise Adviser to the Careers and Enterprise Company, personal mentoring with several educational charities and pro-bono marketing consultation to a range of charities and CIC’s.
In 2025 Sue was named ESG Champion of the Year at the Credit Strategy Women in Credit Awards for the second year running.
Jon Slade
Chief Executive Officer at Financial Times Group
Jon Slade became Chief Executive Officer in July 2025, following more than two decades of leadership at the FT Group.
Slade joined the Group management board in 2014 and has been central to the FT’s transformation into a digital-first, subscription-led business. In his previous role as Chief Commercial Officer, he oversaw the FT’s consumer and corporate subscriber business, global advertising sales and operations, branded content, newspaper operations and retail, and FT Strategies, the FT’s consulting arm.
Deeply committed to the FT’s role as a force for good, Slade helped set environmental goals for the business as co-chair of the FT’s sustainability council and sponsored a range of social impact initiatives, notably FT News School.
He has served on the board of Digital Content Next (DCN) for many years, and on the development boards of British Exploring Society and Childline, and the Investment Committee of the Social Business Trust.

After 35 years in media - leading commercial storytelling at ITV, BBC Worldwide, Virgin Radio & Absolute Radio - Chris now uses his keynotes and workshops to help people and teams grow in confidence and deliver brilliantly whenever they step up to speak.
He's been delivering talks for Speakers For Schools since 2013.
Mohammed Amin MBE
Former Partner and Supervisory Board Member, PricewaterhouseCoopers
Despite his parents being illiterate, Amin obtained a Mathematics degree from Cambridge University, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Leeds University. He is a chartered accountant (placed fifth nationally in the PE1 examination), a chartered tax adviser, and an associate member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
His Chartered Institute of Taxation fellowship thesis was awarded a medal for the best thesis submitted in 1999.
Amin was the first Muslim to be admitted to the Price Waterhouse partnership (now PwC) in the UK.
He specialised in international tax and the taxation of derivatives and foreign exchange. His roles included leading the firm’s UK finance and treasury tax network and its Islamic finance team. From 2003 until he retired, Amin was an elected member of PwC’s 15-person Supervisory Board, responsible for overseeing the firm’s management.
His work for the community was recognised by his selection as Clare College Cambridge’s Alumnus of the Year 2014. In 2016 he was awarded an MBE for services to community cohesion and inter-faith relations in Greater Manchester.
Andrew Wallace
Founder and Chair, Leathwaite
Andrew is a founding partner of Leathwaite and was appointed Chair in 2023. In this role, he leads the Board and oversees the firm’s strategy and long‑term direction, assessing progress against its global ambitions and supporting the managing partners to ensure the business delivers on its objectives. He also drives the firm’s focus on culture, ESG, and purpose, championing initiatives that create meaningful and lasting change. Andrew is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.
Over the past decade, Andrew served as Managing Partner, guiding the firm to record revenues and profitability. He also established and developed Leathwaite’s Global HR and Legal, Risk and Compliance practices. With more than 25 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, he has built an extensive international network and has worked on assignments in over 20 countries. Andrew has also lived and worked in New York on two occasions.
Alongside his professional work, Andrew is passionate about strengthening the connection between education and careers. He partners with several organisations that help students recognise their potential and pursue fulfilling career paths.
David Dein OBE
Former Chairman of Arsenal and the Football Association
David Dein MBE is currently International Ambassador for the FA and Ambassador for the Premier League. He was the former Vice Chairman of both Arsenal Football Club and the Football Association. He was also President of the G-14 group of European football clubs and International Ambassador of England’s bid to host the World Cup in 2018.
At Arsenal he was responsible for football matters, taking an active role in the transfer of players and contract negotiations where he was able to use his extensive network of football contacts. Dein was behind the appointment of the then little known Arsène Wenger to the manager’s job in 1996. During his 24 years at Arsenal, the club won 18 trophies including the Invincible season of 2003/2004. The Club now has the finest training facilities and the most magnificent stadium – The Emirates.
Dein was the driving force behind the creation of the FA Premier League in 1992 which is now the most successful league competition in the world. He has been at the forefront of many important changes in football, including the introduction of Goal Line Technology and VAR.
He was an early proponent of Women’s football and became President of the Arsenal Women’s Team which became one of the most successful in the league.
Since 2014 he has delivered motivational and inspirational talks in over 500 state schools for the Speakers for Schools programme. In addition, he as given talks in all of the 117 prisons in England & Wales and in 2018 launched the Twinning Project which twins professional football clubs with their local prison, providing training and coaching programmes to help offenders gain employment on release. The objective is to reduce offending and save lives.
He has recently written his autobiography – Calling the Shots.
In 2026 he was awarded an OBE for his services to football and charity.
Helen Calcraft
Founding Partner, Lucky Generals
Helen has worked in advertising for her whole career and is still excited by what it can offer to young people to this day.
After ten years at AMV BBDO (the country's largest advertising agency) Helen went on to co-found not one, but two, highly successful agencies. She has a truly entrepreneurial spirit and has learnt a lot about what to do (and what not to do) when founding a company. Her current agency, multi-award winning Lucky Generals, is considered to be one of the boldest and most creative companies in the UK. The Generals produce highly effective and famous work for Yorkshire Teas, Virgin Atlantic, Asda, Irn Bru and many more; and never a day goes by without laughter in the agency.
Richard Murrell
Lecturer at Ravensbourne and Former Lead Director at BBC News
Richard Murrell retired from the BBC in June 2025 after 44 years of service in broadcasting, including more than two decades directing some of the BBC’s most prestigious news, current affairs and live television programmes.
His career began with a fascination for sound and radio, first sparked by hospital radio in Epping, Essex and Radio Top Shop in London. Richard joined BBC Radio as a sound engineer, working mainly on Radio 1 and Radio 2 programmes, before moving through BBC Radio Drama, multi-track music recording at Maida Vale, and eventually into BBC News and Sport as a Senior Studio Manager.
Richard later moved into BBC Television News, where he developed a deep understanding of studio operations, lighting, cameras and live production. After training as a Vision Mixer, he progressed into directing, leading programmes including BBC World News, Breakfast with Frost, the BBC One National News and Sunday Politics. His work also took him around the world, directing more than twenty outside broadcasts from locations including Dhaka, New York and Washington. A particular career highlight was spending a day at the White House and meeting the President of the United States.
Alongside his BBC career, Richard has been an active member of BAFTA for more than twenty years. His long-held belief that training is the backbone of the broadcasting industry led him to join the Sessional Lecturer team at Ravensbourne University in September 2023.
Richard became a member of Speakers for Schools in October 2014 and has since delivered talks designed to inspire young people to think ambitiously about their futures. Since retiring from the BBC, he has also become part of the Futures for All Ambassador programme.
Through his talks, Richard aims to show young people that careers are rarely linear, that curiosity and persistence matter, and that opportunities can grow from the most unexpected beginnings.
Through his work with Speakers for Schools and the Futures for All Ambassador programme, Richard hopes to encourage young people to believe that their starting point does not have to define their destination.
CeCe Sammy-Lightfoot
Vocal Coach & TV Presenter
Often referred to as "The UK's Vocal Whiz", CeCe Sammy-Lightfoot has been a leading vocal and performance coach for some of the biggest names in music. She’s also known for her TV appearances and behind the scenes contributions as vocal coach, judge, advisor, talent scout and trouble-shooter on various music and entertainment shows such as: "Pop Idol", “America’s Got Talent”, “American Idol”, "X Factor: Battle of the Stars", “S Club Search”, BBC’s "Just The Two of Us", “The Voice UK”, “Xtra Factor”, Endemol’s “Your Face Sounds Familiar Georgia”, E! Entertainment, ITV series “Get Your Act Together”, VH1's "Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project" and much more. Tom Toumazis MBE
A portfolio director focused in technology, media and entertainment | TEDx Speaker
Tom Toumazis MBE has a portfolio of directorships focused in technology, media and the arts.
He sits on a number of Boards in Music, TV and Ad Technology. Tom is also Founderand Chair of the Childline Board, part of the NSPCC and Deputy Chair of the University of Westminster.
He’s worked in TV, Radio, Newspapers, Film and digital media. He’s run small and large businesses, from start-ups to businesses employing over 8,000 people.
Tom is a public speaker, sharing his work/life experiences and encouraging young people to explore a career in media. He’s given two TEDx talks, one on most dangerous word in the English language and the other on the art of the nudge. He’s a leading ambassador at Speakers for Schools and has shared his talk with over 10,000 students.
Tom has helped raise over £33 million for Childline, including running 9 London Marathons. He’s an Arsenal fan, a movie addict, loves swimming in Hampstead Ponds and playing Chess online. He was awarded an MBE in 2015 for services to children.
