Ben O'Keeffe

For a decade Ben worked in UK & European politics, as a lobbyist for some of the most well-known companies, before taking up a role in the UK and Welsh Parliaments as a senior advisor to the Party of Wales. There he advised multiple party leaders through two of the Party's most successful general elections, a European election, and several local and devolved ballots.

Moving into the private sector in 2021, Ben has spent the last five years at one of the UK's biggest companies managing their strategy and key communications activities around the world. Working across the US, Australia, the Middle East and Europe, he manages the companies multi-billion pound pipeline and devises how it will support governments deliver key services across all aspects of citizens' lives.

Originally from the south Wales valleys, now based in London, he has made championing opportunities for working class people a priority throughout his professional career. As a beneficiary of charities supporting education, having gained a scholarship to study at King's College London, he is happy to talk openly about his personal as well as professional journey and hopefully inspire students to go beyond where they thought they could.
