Futures For All is speaking at the prestigious event to show how businesses can inspire the next generation
On 4th March, as the tech sector descends on the Excel Centre in East London for Tech Show London, Futures For All will be hosting a special panel session with top voices from the industry on how to open tech career pathways to all.
Our mission has always been to create access to the top sectors for young people and connecting industry with our programmes is a key part of our work. Speaking at Tech Show London will build new connections, allow us to create better awareness around best work experience practices. It will also enrich our own understanding of how the tech sector is growing and changing.

Our panel will utilise key voices from the sector
Future For All's Business Development Manager, Laura Morris, will host the discussion. Laura has a wealth of experience engaging tech businesses with our programmes and will provide insight into how a work experience programme can be designed to create an enriching experience for young people - and a positive one for businesses.
Alongside Laura, we're delighted to be joined by our Ambassador, CEO & Founder of BorrowMyDoggy, Rikke Rosenlund. Rikke has delivered inspirational talks to students on our behalf since 2022 and has extensive experience of how tech has enabled her to scale her passion to become a nationally recognised business.
We're also being joined by Sowmya Ajay Kumar, Senior Technical Programme Manager at Amazon Web Services. With over a decade of experience driving enterprise digital transformation across EMEA, Sowmya understands how engaging with young talent improves a business' impact and why this mission is important to a global company like AWS.
How are we opening doors to the sector?
The UK has been looking to become a pioneer in the sector pouring vast resources into areas such as AI; FinTech; cyber security; cloud computing, as a means to spearhead the economy. However, we haven't seen enough effort towards inspiring the next generation of workers, concentrating on using new visa systems to attract talent from overseas or automation. We recognise the talent is here in the UK, we just need to open doors to opportunities.
That's why we partnered with Hg Foundation to develop our IntoTech programme to create more tech education and more opportunity for a more equitable tech sector.
Come and say hello
If you're attending Tech Show London, our panel is on the Big Data and AI Keynote theatre, 4th March at 16:00pm.
