Alex Segal

I was appointed InterTalent's Managing Director in 2020, becoming the youngest person to hold the role in the agency’s 30-year history.

I oversee InterTalent’s day-to-day operations, drive its creative vision, and lead on our acquisitions and partnerships while continuing to represent my roster of clients, including Vinnie Jones, Grace Dent, Ross Kemp, Sally Nugent, Scarlett Moffatt & Omid Djalili.

I studied Theatre Producing at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and began my career in the West End and at the Old Vic. Coming from a family of agents, I transitioned into talent management at Curtis Brown before spending over three years at ARG, where I worked with their high-profile actors, including Daniel Radcliffe & Liam Neeson.

Since joining InterTalent in 2012, I have negotiated more than £40 million in talent deals across all areas of the industry and have developed new & valuable IP for our clients. As MD, I've expanded InterTalent by launching new divisions in Brand Partnerships, Comedy, Digital, Events, Gaming, and Sport, while strengthening its long-established Scripted and Unscripted business. The company has more than 5x its turnover in that time and was named Best Agency for New Talent at the Edinburgh TV Festival's New Voice Awards.

I am the co-founder of Project 30 Studios & Ventures, a company focused on talent-led formats, content creation and business ventures, and an investor in new indie Pixie Productions. I am also an Associate Producer on Vinnie Jones In The Country (Discovery+ & HBO Max).

I have chaired judging panels for the Edinburgh TV Awards and served on juries for the RTS Awards, New Voice Awards, Broadcast Awards and bCreator Awards. I regularly speak on industry panels, most recently for SXSW London and Channel 4, and have been interviewed by The Times, BBC News, The Guardian, The Media Club & more.
