I have been working as a journalist in the North East for over 17 years - first as a reporter/producer and presenter for local and regional radio, before moving to TV news with the BBC and then ITV.
Currently I present the 6pm evening news programme alongside Ian Payne for ITV Tyne Tees and Border, and work with our brilliant reporters, technical team and editors to help shape the nightly bulletin.
