Annabella Coldrick
Chief Executive, Music Managers Forum
Annabella is Chief Executive of the Music Managers Forum (MMF), the world’s largest representative body of music managers, whose 1,200+ members oversee the businesses of artists, songwriters, producers and DJs. The MMF provides a unified voice for this vibrant network of entrepreneurs, representing their collective interests within the industry and government, and advocating for a fairer and more transparent music business.
Under Annabella’s leadership, the MMF has played a leading role in helping drive artist-friendly changes of the industry - including reforms to the economic model of music streaming, support for international and grassroots touring, and an end to exploitative online ticket touting. This work has been underpinned by effective research and campaigning, including Dissecting The Digital Dollar, #LetTheMusicMove, and FanFair Alliance.
Over this period, the MMF has also vastly increased its level of professional development services, launching Accelerator Programme with YouTube Music in 2019 and expanding its range of training courses for music managers throughout the UK, including the groundbreaking Manager Certification. The organisation was awarded NPO status by Arts Council England in 2023.
A recognised voice across the UK and global music industry, Annabella is a regular contributor to both trade and international media and has spoken at conferences including SXSW, Reeperbahn, MaMA, Rio2C, The Great Escape and Midem. She is a founder member of the European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) and the Council of Music Makers (CMM) and a board member of UK Music and LIVE.
Before joining the MMF in 2015, Annabella held senior positions at the Design Council (Director of Policy & Research), Which? (Head of Public Affairs), the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills (Assistant Director / Chief Communications Adviser) and Cadbury. She began her career in Brussels working with the European Institutions.
