Anthony Osijo

Anthony Osijo is the Group CEO of abci nexus, a company which provides access to essential products and services across Africa - transforming lives and unlocking potential. As a career investment banker, Anthony has a deep knowledge of capital markets which he is now leveraging to improve lives in underserved countries.

Anthony has been instrumental in abci nexus’s development, first as an angel investor then as CFO, and now as Group CEO. He has been a senior executive at SPP Trygg Hansa, UBS, Deutsche Bank in Switzerland, and Credit Agricole in London and Hong Kong, where he was Chief Operating Officer and also served as Treasurer of ASIFMA, a regional trade association representing over 100 leading financial institutions in Asia.

He sits on the advisory boards of several charitable organisations, including Children of the Mekong, the Royal College of Nurses Foundation, and is Board Chairman at Voiceability. Anthony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Financial Services as well as a Chartered accountant. He holds degrees from University of Lagos, City University London and an MBA from Duke University.
