Bill Holroyd CBE DL

Born on a hill farm in Cumbria. Expelled from school for being disruptive. Attended catering college. 

Employed by Trust House Forte. At 29 was CEO of a division within the company with 1500 staff. Left THF and set up own company (Holroyd Meek). Built up to £200m turnover with 3000 staff Sold to Booker PLC after 12 years. 

Started private investment company. Founded OnSide Youth Zones in 2008. There are now 22 Youth Zones across the country serving 80,000 young people.
