Charles Prideaux
Group Head of Strategy and Solutions, Schroders
Charles Prideaux has spent his professional career in asset management . He is currently non-executive Chairman of BlackRock Group Ltd in Europe .Prior to this Mr. Prideaux worked for Schroders plc from 2017 to 2024 where he served as Global Head of Investment and then Group Head of Solutions and Strategy.
He previously worked for BlackRock from 1988 to 2017, including his years with Mercury Asset Management (MAM) and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM), which merged with BlackRock in 2006. During his tenure he served latterly as Head of EMEA Institutional Client Business and Head of EMEA Active Investment.
In addition to his responsibilities at BlackRock, Mr Prideaux serves on the investment Committee for The Goldsmiths Company, on the board for The Arts Theatre Cambridge and as Chair for the charity Go Live Theatre Projects.
