Claudia Kenyatta CBE

Claudia Kenyatta CBE, Co-CEO at Historic England (job share with Emma Squire CBE), first joined the organisation as Director of Regions in 2018, leading HE’s delivery of grants, planning advice and listing across six English regions. 

Prior to that she spent 15 years leading heritage, arts, museums and digital policy, sponsoring bodies such as the Arts Council, Museums, Libraries and Archives Council and national museums, and delivering national commemorative and ceremonial events, at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. 

Alongside her role at Historic England, Claudia is Chair of the Board of Trustees at Battersea Arts Centre in London.
