David Kaye

Chief Executive Officer, Puma Capital Group

David grew up in a working class family in Bury, Manchester and attended Manchester Grammar School with the benefit of an assisted place. After studying law at Brasenose College, Oxford, David qualified as a Barrister and practised for 5 years. With a burning desire to launch his own business, he then made the step to first join a boutique investment firm in Mayfair in 2006, before founding Puma Capital Group in 2012. Puma Capital Group now has 140 people across three offices in the UK and is known as a leading provider of property finance to sophisticated real estate investors as well as being an investor in growth businesses across the UK, including companies such as Love Corn, the premium crunchy corn snacks, and Lucky Saint, a pioneering non-alcoholic beer brand. In addition, David is a deputy chair of the Macmillan Cancer Support impact investment fund, seeking to invest in cutting edge companies focussing on diagnosing and treating cancer.
