Dr Susan Paterson

Dr Sue Paterson is a veterinary surgeon and President of the RCVS. She was until recently a Director of a large veterinary referral hospital in the North West of England with both primary care and specialist facilities. Sue is an experienced presenter and has lectured all over the world in her capacity as a Veterinary Dermatology Specialist. As a previous Chair of the RCVS Education Committee she is well aware of the challenges around entry into Vet School, the opportunities that are available particularly to students from widening participation backgrounds and the wide range of potential career opportunities available to a veterinary science graduate other than but including primary care practice. As a Veterinary Trustee of Battersea Cat and Dogs home she is well qualified to speak about the animal rescue centre.
