Helen Calcraft

Helen has worked in advertising for her whole career and is still excited by what it can offer to young people to this day.

After ten years at AMV BBDO (the country's largest advertising agency) Helen went on to co-found not one, but two, highly successful agencies. She has a truly entrepreneurial spirit and has learnt a lot about what to do (and what not to do) when founding a company. Her current agency, multi-award winning Lucky Generals, is considered to be one of the boldest and most creative companies in the UK. The Generals produce highly effective and famous work for Yorkshire Teas, Virgin Atlantic, Asda, Irn Bru and many more; and never a day goes by without laughter in the agency.
