Jo Dargie is a Freelance International PR Manager under Urban Rebel, working with emerging and established electronic music artists across the global scene, including Amelie Lens, Darude, John Newman and more. Her approach isn't about chasing headlines; it's about driving music culture forward by building real connections between artists and the fans through effective storytelling, multi-media activations, and brand partnerships that shape artistic direction.

She's also a music journalist for Ibiza Spotlight, covering the island's nightlife scene through features, interviews, and reviews, giving her experience on both sides of every story: the one shaping it, and the one telling it.
Jo's message to students is simple: a career in music and the creative industries isn't out of reach. It's a real, financially and personally fulfilling path if you know how to navigate it. She talks to young people about the opportunities beyond the role of an artist, how to actually get a foot in the door, transferable professional communication and networking skills, and the confidence to back themselves and choose their own future.
