Kathleen Saxton

CEO Psyched Ventures, Psychotherapist and Author

Kathleen has over 30 years of experience within the media and advertising industry, having held leadership positions within both media owners such as Sky TV, Global Radio, and Virgin to agencies such as PHD and Saatchi & Saatchi. She has operated at the holding company level in both London and New York - most recently as the Global CMO at Omnicom and as Chair of The Ambassador Platform (acquired by IDP plc).

Kathleen founded The Lighthouse Company in 2009 (Talent Agents to the C-Suite) which she transitioned over a decade later into strategic advisory firm MediaLink – placing hundreds of CEO’s around the world. She co-founded Psyched Ventures in 2016, offering company, team and individual psychology, corporate retreats, and performance programmes for executives and Advertising Week Europe in 2011, bringing together the TMT community annually. Both remain vibrant and successful businesses today.

She is a qualified, accredited, and practicing psychotherapist, supervisor and mediator and a registered member of the UKCP, BACP and the CMC - seeing clients and patients in both London and NYC and a regular board advisor and executive coach. She has authored two books with Hachette on Business Psychology and Narcissism and is a regular on-screen psychotherapist for ITV’s This Morning, columnist for Stylist Magazine and contributor for The Times.

Katheen was made a Fellow of The Marketing Society in 2023, a Trustee of the NSPCC in 2024, remains a member of UK’s WACL, NYC’s Influencers and is a regular mentor for Speakers for Schools Programme at Futures For All.

She lives in both London and NYC with her dog Humphrey and has two grown up children Ned and Nancy who work for Formula1 and Yungblud respectively having now flown the nest. She adores live music, especially at Ronnie Scott’s and is a flautist, a pianist and an unexpected fan of boxing.
