Mr. Harbinder Birdi

Harbinder Birdi is Founder and Creative Director of Birdi & Partners, an independent consultancy specialising in infrastructure design, governance and project delivery. With over 25 years' experience, he has led the architectural design of major UK infrastructure projects, including the Stirling Prize-winning Tottenham Court Road Station on the Elizabeth Line, and the central section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel. He is a Design Council Expert advising organisations including Network Rail and serves as Design Champion and creative lead for the Grand Union Canal Transfer Project. A Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of both RIBA and ICE, he is recognised for integrating architecture, engineering and infrastructure to deliver high-quality, sustainable places and lasting public value.
