Stuart Cain

Stuart has worked in professional sport and entertainment for 25 years, across football (Wolverhampton Wanderers, Rangers, FIFA World Cup), rugby (Wasps RFC, Rugby League World Cup), cricket (Warwickshire CCC, Birmingham Phoenix) and venues (Utilita Arena, BP Pule Arena, Ricoh Arena, Edgbaston Stadium).

He is passionate about explaining the many career opportunities for youngsters in sport or entertainment who often don't see any further than those on the field or stage. But behind them is an army of specialists who vary in skills: accountants, ground staff, event managers, marketing manager, PR officers, facilities managers, community coaches, nutritionists and physiotherapists, catering managers, HR managers. The list goes on.

Many of these are 'entry level' vocational positions with numerous apprenticeship opportunities'. Some are more traditional requiring degrees and/or professional qualifications. So, there is something in sport and entertainment for everyone - whether they be academic or not.
